A Quick Rant: Rewarding vs Bribing Children
Last time I was at the grocery store, I witnessed a mother trying to persuade her son to get off the floor and walk so she could finish shopping. She was trying to reason with him, and I heard her offer him candy, French fries, and hours of TV to get him to get him moving. As soon as…

Hack Crafts for Ghetto Crafters
While I might be an ace at cooking wholesome meals and saving the planet with the kids, I am a GD zero at crafting. I’m a ghetto, wannabe crafter. Give Me Some Credit, Mom!
One of my biggest parent pet peeves is when people claim their child hit a milestone that is impossible for them to have hit. Like claiming your 3-week-old calls you mama, or your 1-day old smiles at you. Or your 8-month old is potty trained and unloads the dishwasher. This drives me INSANE. Come on, people, do you research….
